This past weekend I spoke on a panel at the She Inspires Summer Brunch. One of the questions was, “What inspires you?” As a creative, this question wasn’t difficult to answer at all. Starting something and seeing it come to fruition keeps me inspired. Working through an idea until I get it just right excites me. Playing in colors and pretty spaces gives me all the feels a girl can ask for. On the flip side, I don’t always feel inspired. Sometimes it’s hard to keep going when life is happening. Sometimes money gets tight. Sometimes I don’t have the energy. Sometimes I feel invisible. I know I’m not the only one who sometimes feels like I’m not doing what God has called me to do effectively. If you’ve been there or you’re there right now, this blog post is for you!

Sis, keep going even if you have to crawl.

Keep praying even if you feel like you don’t have the right words.

Keep creating because it simply brings you joy.

Keep believing in yourself even if others don’t.

Keep trusting that God is going to use you exactly where you are.

Keep pursuing the things that set your soul on fire even if you don’t get a pat on the back.

Keep doing the things that God has called you to do even if you have more questions than answers.

Keep reminding yourself daily that you are enough even when you don’t feel like it.

Keep speaking positive things over your life even when your circumstances tell you to run and hide.

Keep trusting in God’s word and apply it as if your life depends on it.

Keep going and God will reveal Himself to you.

Keep going so that you don’t miss the lessons intended just for you.

If you’ve haven’t been feeling inspired lately, there’s nothing wrong with starting over where you left off. The bible says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” What does that mean for you and I? With God anything is possible!!!!! Today is a good day to start moving and praying and creating again. Let’s be specific in our prayers and intentional about our goals. Let’s fight through self doubt. Let us pray that God would remove any distractions or obstacles out of your way. Let’s not put things off another day!
